About channel Россия 1 Вайнах

GTRK "Vainakh" is a branch of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK) - the successor of the State Committee of the Chechen Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic for Television and Radio Broadcasting. Radio broadcasting began on April 17, 1928. The first head of the radio station and radio technician in one person was the former radio operator of the Baltic Fleet I. I. Makarov. From that day on, radio broadcasting in the Chechen region developed rapidly along with the training of technical personnel.

By July 1, 1929, there were already 56 radio installations in the villages. The first Chechen director of the radio committee was the already famous Chechen poet Sh. Aiskhanov (1929-1937). From 1937 - V. Nagapetyan, from 1940 to 1944 the radio committee was headed by A. Shamilev. The first radio journalists, as in the editorial office of the Serlo newspaper, were representatives of Chechen youth. These were mainly graduates and students of technical schools and universities in Grozny, Moscow, Ordzhonikidze, Rostov and others. Among them were writers and scientists Magomed Mamakaev, Nurdin Muzaev, Serazhdin Elmurzaev, Magomed Salmurzaev, Akhmad Nazhaev, Abdi Dudaev and others.

From the very first day until 1944, folk storytellers Baudin Suleymanov, Idris Tsitskiev, Umar Dimaev, young journalists Azamat Sarakaev, Aindi Zubairaev, Bilal Chalaev worked as soloists of the Chechen radio. From 1939 to 1942, the then young poet, who later became a classic of Chechen literature, Arbi Mamakaev, worked as a radio announcer. Chechen radio has been destroyed throughout its history (in 1944, 1994, 1996), but has been revived each time. Chechen television is thirty years younger than radio.

The first stone in the foundation of the future television center was laid in 1958. The Chechen television building was erected in the most beautiful corner of the city - in the park of culture and recreation named after. S. M. Kirov - on the bank of the river. Sunzha, making in this place a kind of lap of honor for the green peninsula in the center of Grozny. At the end of 1959, construction of the two-story television center building was completed.

E. A. Cherny was appointed the first director of the Grozny television studio. Then, in different years, N.G. Petrov, A.A. Kovalev, R. Khadzhiev were deputy chairmen of the state television and radio of the Chechen-China Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - directors of the GTS. On May 15, 1960, blue screens were lit up for the first time in the city of Grozny and in the villages of the republic. On December 31, 1994, television, like radio, was destroyed.

The second time this happened was on August 6, 1996. TV broadcasting was restored only on February 2, 2000 in the city of Gudermes. Radio broadcasting was restored on November 12, 2001 after television moved to Grozny on May 15 of the same year. Until this moment, radio materials were transmitted to the radio station “Chechnya Free” by A. Gaitukaev. He and other veterans of television and radio, including R. Elmurzaeva, Adiz Kusaev, Kh. Taramov, Z. Shakhbulatova, Y. Alekseev, T. Magomadova, are still working and passing on their experience to young people.
