About channel DMAX Italia

DMAX (pronounced dìmacs) is an Italian thematic television channel edited by Discovery Italia, a division of the Warner Bros. Discovery group.

The director of the channel is Laura Carafoli, former director of Real Time since 2010.

The channel is visible in HD on digital terrestrial LCN 52, on Sky 170 and on Tivùsat 28.

Italian version of the original Discovery channel born in 2006, it began its broadcasts at 18:45 on November 10, 2011 with the program Destroyed in Seconds on LCN 52 of digital terrestrial and on LCN 140 of Sky Italia.< /p>

On September 13, 2012 DMAX changes the logo and graphics, adopting a DMAX slogan - you see it, you live it. In addition, the light is moved to the top left of the screen.

From 17 December 2012 it also broadcasts on Tivùsat at LCN 28 and moves to Sky Italia's LCN 808.

From 9 April 2014 it moved to LCN 136 of Sky Italia, with the official launch of the +1 version at LCN 137.

From November 4 of the same year, the light is surrounded by an orange rectangle with white writing, while the writing of the program on the air is added to the top right of the screen.

Since November 7 of the same year, DMAX has also been broadcasting in HD on the Sky Italia platform.

On 6 February 2015, the D of the Discovery logo was added to the left of the network logo, as for the other free channels.

On May 2, 2016, the channel underwent another graphic restyling, adopting the network logo equal to the luminous and a new slogan In every man, there is a DMAX male.

From 1 March 2019 DMAX HD and DMAX +1 will also become visible on Tivùsat at LCN 28 and 128, replacing the SD version.

On March 13, 2019, the SD version on satellite closed definitively, also disappearing from Sky Italia.

From April 9, DMAX, together with the other free-to-air channels of the group, is also available in high definition streaming on Dplay.

On April 21, 2020, the bright became monochromatic, preceded by the entire Discovery logo. The superimposed writings were also reduced, including the various suffixes.

On June 24, 2020 Discovery and WWE sign an agreement, WWE airs from July 13 with its RAW, Smackdown and NXT shows with commentary by Franchini and Posa.

On December 1, 2020, the +1 version definitively ends its broadcasts, so that DMAX remains available exclusively in HD on satellite.

From 8 March 2022, the high definition version of the channel will also arrive on digital terrestrial, replacing the SD version.

On June 6, 2022, the luminous re-adopted its coloring and goes alongside the logo of the new Warner Bros. Discovery company.

Since November 7, 2014 DMAX has a high definition version, initially available only on Sky Italia.

On 4 June 2018 DMAX HD moved to LCN 140 of Sky Italia, while from 2 January 2019 it moved to LCN 170.

From March 1st 2019 it is also available on Tivùsat at LCN 28 to replace the standard definition version.

From 8 March 2022 it is also on digital terrestrial at LCN 52, replacing the standard definition version.
