COVID-19: Minister cannot answer when people in their 20s and 30s will get boosters

Science Minister George Freeman repeatedly asked when people in their 20s and 30s will be able to book a booster jab, but does not give any dates.

NHS England chief executive Amanda Pritchard said earlier this week that people should not contact the NHS about booking their jab until it is their turn.

Mr Freemans claim has added to the confusion among the public about when boosters can be booked.

There has still been no announcement from NHS England on when the third jab will be given to the under-40 age cohorts, despite it being nearly a week since Boris Johnson said the booster rollout would be ramped up.
