Chloé - Live at Les Vieilles Charrues Festival | Qwest TV

It’s no mean feat to take over a main festival stage alone, accompanied only by your machines: Chloé manages to pull this off with a cool ease, bolstered by a luminous and impeccable scenography that gives a visual substance and depth to her music and enables her to create a full-bodied and immersive show for the audience of Les Vieilles Charrues.

As is notable, this is not Chloés first live performance: an emblematic figure of the French techno scene, she has been moving bodies for nearly two decades with her sharp and heady beats. She has been resident DJ at the Pulp and founder of the label Kill The DJ and has accumulated maxis and remixes, building an international reputation with her minimalist, avant-garde and mental techno. On her three albums, The Waiting Room (2007), One in Other (2010 - nominated at the Victoires de la Musique) and Endless Revisions (2017), Chloé seduces an increasingly large audience and always astounds with her eclecticism and open-mindedness. This is further evidenced by her collaborations with Alain Chamfort or Ben Shemie of the group Suuns.

Interestingly, she is a composer and producer with passion about art and cinema and has also created original music for films. Nonetheless, the stage remains her true space of freedom and creation, as she proves once again at the festival of Les Vieilles Charrues. After an escalation of more than eight minutes, Chloé leads her audience to a dense, hypnotic techno, calibrated for the dancefloor.
