Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said invading Ukraine would be a painful, violent and bloody business for Russia, and could be a new Chechnya.

He also responded to accusations of Islamophobia aimed at his government, saying he is glad an investigation is taking place into Nusrat Ghanis claims and he taking them extremely seriously.
