Emma Tustin has been jailed for a minimum of 29 years over the torture and killing of her partners six-year-old son, Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

Thomas Hughes was jailed for 21 years for his son’s manslaughter.

Tustin murdered the boy by causing a fatal head injury at her home in Solihull last year.

There were repeated warnings to authorities that Arthur was being abused in the run up to his death.

Will this be the moment when we make real changes in our approach to safeguarding children?
